Hilary Duff’s Life Story

The career of Hilary Duff

When Duff first started acting, most of her parts were supporting ones. She appears as an uncredited extra in the ensemble comedy-drama Playing by Heart (1998) and had an uncredited role in the Hallmark Entertainment-produced western miniseries True Women (1997).

Duff was cast for her first significant role in the same year, as Wendy in the Harvey Comics-based movie Casper Meets Wendy. Duff’s appearance in the 1999 television film The Soul Collector, in which she played the supporting role of Ellie, earned her a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Television Movie or Pilot (Supporting Young Actress).

Duff received an opportunity to play Lizzie McGuire, the lead in a drama series that was recently developed for the Disney Channel, one week after he was fired from Daddio. With an estimated 2.3 million viewers each episode when it debuted on January 12, 2001, Lizzie McGuire swiftly rose to the top of the ratings.

Duff quickly rose to fame as a household name and teen idol, especially with the pre-teen and adolescent demographic that the show catered to. Duff began appearing in appearances on several Disney Channel soundtracks. One of these

endeavors involved recording a rendition of Brooke McClymont’s song “I Can’t-Wait” for the film’s soundtrack to Lizzie McGuire: She later recorded a version of “The Tiki Tiki Tiki Room” for the DisneyMania CD. Duff’s enthusiasm for pursuing a music career led to the creation of his debut album, which had a Christmas theme.

Duff, who also acted with Heather Locklear, had a major role in the 2005 release of The Perfect Man, which went on to become a commercial hit. Beginning in 2007, Duff began working on the material for her fourth studio album.

Thirteen of the album’s fourteen tracks were composed by Duff and other songwriters, including Kara DioGuardi. Duff made a special appearance on the Fox series Raising Hope at the start of 2013. Following that, she made an appearance

as a guest star in the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men’s tenth season finale.
Jesse McCartney, Josh Duhamel, and Duff all provided voices for the animated movie winglets. The next year saw the release of the film’s sequel, in which she also appeared.

Duff said in June of 2016 that, at the time, she was working on a new album. Breathe In. Breathe Out was the title of the previous album; she claimed that the new album had a “darker and heavier tone.”

She alluded to a new song via a message on her Snapchat account, which was subsequently revealed to be called “Tied to You.” There were rumors that Duff would be returning to her role as Kelsey Peters in a Younger spinoff series that she would be starring in in May of 2020.

There was an association between the project and Younger’s developer, Darren Star. Star described the spinoff as a “female Entourage” in April 2021, revealing that it would be based in Los Angeles and feature Kelsey Peters as its main character.

After that, Duff was named Carter’s first Chief Mom Officer on May 18, 2022, when the children’s clothing company first opened for business. In addition, to the partnership, she created a children’s clothing capsule collection.

She unveiled her most recent business venture, a line of home fragrance products named Below 60°, in November 2023. The company was founded the same month, and she served as its Chief Brand Director.
